The Voice In The Cosmic Fugue ... More pages to the right >>>

The Infinitesimal …

“The Cosmos is all that is or ever was or ever will be. Our feeblest contemplations of the Cosmos stir – there is a tingling in the spine, a catch in the voice, a faint sensation, as is a distant memory, of falling from height. We know we are approaching the greatest of mysteries.” ~ Dr. Carl Sagan

It is apparent even to superficial observation that the universe operates according to Law. All our sciences and technologies are based on the recognition of this fact. This law is not imposed from outside but is the very nature of the Cosmos. Fundamentally it is the law of cause and effect, action and reaction, by which the Cosmos as a whole, and all its parts individually, are ordered and regulated. The Law is in itself Wisdom, Intelligence and Power; it is the Wisdom that "mightily and sweetly ordereth all things" [Wisdom of Solomon (Apocrypha)], operating through the Hierarchies of beings by which the Cosmos is made and maintained as one harmonious whole.

“Do there exist many worlds, or is there but a single world? This is one of he most noble exalted questions in the study of Nature.” ~ Albertus Magnus, thirteenth century

It has been suggested that the Universe dies and is reborn repeatedly, forever. The density of the Universe is unknown: if it is sufficiently great, the force of gravity will be sufficiently strong to bring receding galaxies to a stop and then pull them back in towards each other until they vanish in a big crunch that would be like a reverse performance of the big bang. This would be presumably followed by another explosion and the birth of yet another universe. But this time the fundamental forces of nature, might not be as finely balanced … no stars might be formed from the interstellar gas, or else they might appear but carbon might fail to be formed in the nuclear furnace. But this universe, too, would collapse, and a new one would be born. So the cycle would continue, universe following universe to eternity, and the overwhelming majority of them never witnessing the births of intelligent life. But in an infinitesimal number of them, conditions would be so finely balanced that observers could appear and wonder at their good fortune.

“What are you? From where did you come? I have never seen anything like you.” The Creator Raven looked at Man and was surprised to find that this strange new being was so much like himself.” ~ Eskimo creation myth

Man is a microcosm reflecting in miniature the composition and processes of the macrocosm, the total Universe. Another even more astonishing conjecture is that the Universe has apparently been designed with the emergence of intelligent life in mind and that the “unsuccessful” universes in which conditions are not right for life are not to be found in the past or the future, but co-exist in parallel with the Universe we know.

Billions and billions of stars …

“Some foolish men declare that a Creator made the world. The doctrine that the world was created is ill-advised, and should be rejected. If God created the world, where was he before creation? … How could God have made the world without any raw material?” ~ The Mahapurana

About 4.6 billion years ago, a vast cloud of gas and cosmic dust began to collapse in a remote trailing edge of the Milky Way Galaxy. The Milky Way Galaxy is thought to be about 12 million years old. Why it collapsed is one of the great mysteries of science. The probable cause was a prodigious explosion in the same galaxy. A gigantic star, no longer able to maintain its fiery bulk, had blown up in a super nova blast many times brighter than the radiance of its 100 billion neighboring stars. Shock waves raced outward from the explosion and hit the cloud and perhaps many clouds in it. Under the impact, the cloud began to contract and grow dense - a process that would eventually give birth to the Solar System.

The Sun and its nine planets were to be made up largely of two elements, hydrogen and helium. These ingredients have been present throughout the Universe since it was created in an expanding fireball 12-18 billion years earlier. The raw materials had coalesced into earlier generations of stars - generations that had perished and passed on matter to other spawning clouds. So too the Sun and the planets would die at a predictable time and pass their matter onto future celestial bodies.

Galaxies are natures’ greatest building blocks. Observations by the Hubble Space Telescope suggest that the Universe contains at least 50 billion of them. Galaxies swim in a seemingly endless abyss. The Milky Way is lost among the galactic throng. But there is a structure visible as the last grand architecture of the Cosmos. The galaxies are arrayed not in random but in knots, clumps and ribbons. These super clusters as they are called are collections of smaller galaxy clusters. Some superclusters contain tens of thousands of galaxies. Why the galaxies are congregated in tattered but discrete clusters rather than being haphazardly dispersed is still unknown. One theory suggests that soon after the Universe formed, its matter swirled into ribbon and pancake shaped slabs which later became the birthplaces of galaxies.

“… We are the local embodiment of a Cosmos grown to self awareness. We have begun to contemplate our origins; starstuff pondering the stars; organized assemblages of ten billion billion billion atoms considering the evolution of atoms; tracing the long journey by which, here at least, consciousness arose. Our loyalties are to the species of the planet. We speak for Earth. Our obligation to survive is owed not just to ourselves but also to that Cosmos, ancient and vast, from which we sprang.” ~ Dr Carl Sagan

Worlds in Collision is a book written by Immanuel Velikovsky and first published on April 3, 1950. The book proposed that around the 15th century BCE, Venus was ejected from Jupiter as a comet or comet-like object, and passed near Earth (an actual collision is not mentioned). The object changed Earth's orbit and axis, causing innumerable catastrophes which were mentioned in early mythologies and religions around the world. It was met with a very hostile reception by the scientific community at the time of publication, and has since been proven incorrect.

Worlds in Collision is a book of wars in the celestial sphere that took place in historical times. In these wars the planet earth participated too. [...] The historical-cosmological story of this book is based in the evidence of historical texts of many people around the globe, on classical literature, on epics of the northern races, on sacred books of the peoples of the Orient and Occident, on traditions and folklore of primitive peoples, on old astronomical inscriptions and charts, on archaeological finds, and also on geological and paleontological material.

Re this excellent video - all of this is actually affecting our 60, Trillion cells! The galaxies and religion...and our beliefs!

Notice all the 6's - and all the things that add up to 9 - all the things that add back one......And the  - Milky way Galaxy - one of 100 Billion galaxies - maybe even a Trillion....

All this affects our 60,000 cells - this is the great paradox - we are one little being but look what we reflect.....we are bigger than we think....letting in the Light re-generates the telomeres . These are the caps at the end of the DNA that disintegrates with age. Only reason disintegrates is our subconscious stuff...bringing all this stuff up - healing the past - makes us more conscious - to be the Light we are = all that outer is our inner when we make space!! And we enjoy longevity -and manifest our Light. "See your Light...let there be light."

Defense is the first act of war....we need to clean up our act as this man speaks....we are builders not destroyers. We need to stop giving our power away! Then we can really shine -- all this is the subject of one of my books Being the 6th Element!

Love this Sun so much ....again thank you for your inspiration and of course Sky for giving us a place to receive more.

The difference between a comedy and a tragedy is that in a comedy the characters figure out reality in time to do something about it. (Goodspeed)

It is about listening to the ear in our H.ear.T - our intuition. No need for someone else's dogma that is religion....pick out what is good - that is light - leave the rest behind. Most religions do not enhance self-esteem.

Self esteem is key to being the Light we are. This is the juice that re-grows the telomeres.

Hi WHo I am glad that you liked what I wrote.Just sit with it - our heart knows truth and if you feel light then it is truth for you.

As to Grok it is a great word. Check out the web site:  for more info. Thank you for asking as this opened me to find even more meaning than I thought.

Grok comes from the Sci Fi book Stanger in a Strange Land by Robert Heinlein. The main character Valentine Michael Smith is the only survivor of the first human expedition to Mars.  This is a book well worth reading if you ever get the chance.

It means "I understand." But it also means "to drink" in.

It also means "may you always grok in fullness" – hoping that someone will not jump to conclusions, will not immediately pass judgment, will not act without thought; but instead will look at every problem, opportunity, and action from any and all perspectives.

It is asking that the recipient try to understand a situation so thoroughly that they effectively become one with it -- that they can see all of the other points of view from all of the other perspectives. Then, once this "understanding" has been attained -- once the observer has become part of the observed and understands its perspective -- then they can act in full confidence that they will do the best and the right thing.

Again I add if it feels light it is truth.

Grok is the energy of 2012 - trying to understand each other's perspective without judgement.

“The Voyage of Discovery lies not in seeking new vistas but in having new eyes.” (W.B.Yeats) And ears! Listening with the H.ear.T!
