DRAGONS! ~ Additional Pages >right>

Far away in the twilight time

Of every people, in every clime,

Dragons and griffins and monsters dire,

Born of water, and air, and fire,

Or nursed, like the Python, in the mud

And ooze of the old Deucalion flood,

Crawl and wriggle and foam with rage,

Through dusk tradition and ballad age.

John Greenleaf Whittier in “The Double Headed Snake of Newbury

For millennia, few creatures have fascinated mankind, enticed imagination,  or become embedded in human consciousness more than the dragon. These magnificent beasts and their relatives have been found in every eco-system on the planet from the mountains of Greece to the forests of northern Europe to the volcanic planes of Mesoamerica to the valleys of China. The noble dragon can no longer be delegated to the world of fiction made into a cheap joke and visual cliché by cartoonists and animators for he is a part of worldwide culture and spiritual beliefs that sustain his glory and meaning.

Let’s delve into the symbolic, sociologic and even geographic significance of Dragons. Do tread lightly and be respectful …

Merriam-Webster’s Dictionary describes a dragon as, “an imaginary animal usually pictured as a huge serpent or lizard with wings and large claws.” Some of the historic names for Dragons are Wyvern, Lung, Lindworm, Knucker, and of course Western Dragon.

The Lung is the dragon of china. It was said to be able to fly although it is described as not having wings but rather a long serpent like body with scales, four or five toes, a feathery tail and long whisker like feelers around its head. The Lung had the capacity to shape shift into many different guises including human but its favorite from was that of a large Gold Fish or Carp and this may be why Coy ponds were thought to be spiritual places for enlightenment. It is believed that the Lung taught the Chinese how to write and many legends describe how the Lung shared their wisdom and power with the worthy.

The Lindworm or any of the worm dragons are the most associated with a family curse. They are described as being long like a snake some having two legs, aquatic by nature and belligerent by temperament. The Lambton Worm legend dated 1420 is said to have occurred in Durham England and is still talked about today in that community (read about the Lambton Worm in the Dragon Lore section). Knuckers are similar to Worms but have four legs and vestigial wings.

The most viewed dragon in modern films and literature is the Western Dragon. This dragon has been depicted as good or evil. It has four legs and wings and breathes fire. Historical accounts of this type of Dragon hold many of the modern descriptions except that none of the Western Dragons of olden times were good by nature and most were slain by the hero of the stories. These Dragons varied in type and color by the region in which they dwelled. The Frost Dragon would breathe a freezing wind that would instantly freeze its prey. In some cases the breath contained poisons gas or acid.

Do you have a belief in Dragons, not in the way they were depicted in Western Literature but more in the way of the East? Is a Dragon  a dweller of a realm that very few of us will ever see again due to our lack of awe at the beauty and mystery of the world? Are they spiritual guides and keepers of the knowledge that we with our 'science' have lost the right to acquire?

Do you have a personal spiritual Dragon that helps guide you sometimes and dwells within you ready to lend his courage and wisdom to you in a time of need? Keep the flame of the Dragon as a light to see into the darkness and remember that there are always more than one side to every coin and every situation. Your dragon is a treasure so keep it close to your heart and it will guard you well.

Last of all, if you find yourself in an evil Dragon’s territory I remember that you might taste mighty good with ketchup to him!

Ahhh....... the Ancient race or the ones we have been waiting for is us. If you check out the North Node = called the Dragon - in your astrology chart - you will have a map to becoming your future self.

This is our Draconian Energy that is waiting to be birthed NOW during this energy of the 12. See my "Dragons are made not born" post.

The South Node tells us of our habituations that need to be released and our strengths accrued to help us release the past to be "born again" like any ascended master has done. The North node can get you there to be your future self.

You want ascension? Then work with your nodes....this is the information that will allow you to live your ascendent - your first House or Oneness we all seek : our own individuation.

This energy you transmute transform and transcend creates the energy of the High Magician - one who defends and creates justice for all.It takes breathing fire (of Spirit) to do this.

By leaving the past behind this opens you to the energy of the full horoscope or the table of 12 of Jesus Odin Osiris, etc.....the ideals the houses and constellations and the power that is yours and are to represent to create heaven on earth. Then you sit in the 13th seat as they did...the "newly" discovered planet is the energy of Respect that is Justice for all.

I will post an expanded version of this in the Blogs section tomorrow - what I wrote here and will post is an excerpt from my forthcoming book: Being the 6th Element - Steering your own Wheel of Fortune.

You are your own proof....your beliefs either hold you back from creating a fortunate reality or not. The healing tool of the Dragon is Emotional Freedom Technique or EFT. It releases from the nervous system the repressed feelings thought and emotions beliefs of the past.

It is the time for all of us to take back our Draconian energy. It is not for the few it is for ALL.

Dragons are a powerful subconscious symbol of how we feel about our own power....the negative and the positive.

Namaste: Nancy, A Swan a messenger.

Draconian are an ancient race. We can prove they exist. humans know this now. Yet they know who they are now also. alot of truth is out. we are officially in the new age without a doubt.

Even saint germain is said to descend from them and he is an ascended master recognized in many circles with respected names because they have proof.
