Although Western civilization is generally considered to be the product of Greek and Roman culture, both acknowledged Ancient Egypt as the source of the great ancient wisdom, the mysterious land of riddles whose Secrets were considered the highest primes to some of the greatest minds in history.
The Egyptians not the superstitious savages modern Western academics thought to have been. Instead they possessd high level of wisdom and accomplishment, not only equaling that of modern science but in some instances even far surpassing modern abilities. Egypt was known to the ancient world as a repository of high knowledge and magical practices.
Egypt regarded the whole universe as a gigantic act of magic, the transformation of consciousness into the material universe.The secret teachings were known as esoteric or occult or symbolic teachings and were held to contain the secrets of the universe and the keys to great magic. The crux of the old teachings was contained and transmitted through "sacred science" or sacred alchemy.
The Egyptian sacred science was the originally unified source of the myriad streams of modern
MYSTICISM
OCCULTISM
ESOTERICISM
ASTROLOGY
and magical disciplines that exist today. It is also the unified source for such diverse contemporary sciences as:
CHEMISTRY
PHYSICAL SCIENCES
PHILOSOPHY
MEDICINE
ASTRONOMY
GEOMETRY
ARCHITECHTURE
MUSIC
MATHEMATICS
These universal secrets were contained and kept alive in the mystery schools.
Through out the ages the timeless teachings passed down through the word of mouth encrypted in the temples, concealed and enshrined behind a veil of hieroglyphs and symbolism. The teachings and magical ability they imparted were held in the highest secrecy and reverence. Entrance to the temples that held the secrets were highly restricted. They were the domain of royalty, priests and priviliegued initiates. Forefathers of modern thought such as Pythagoras, Plato and others tended to waiting more than 20 years preparing before being acceptance into the mystery schools, the most famous being that of Heliopolis or On.
Sadly with the lapse of the ages and as Egypt was declining and the sacred knowledge began be lost over the centuries and in an attempt to guard the magic from abuse in the hands of the of the profane public, the mystery schools went into hiding. The ancient secrets were shrouded in allegory and symbol. This is why it is important for us today while studying the Mysteries to have an understanding of the mentality of the ancient world through the deep coding lense of symbolism...
The key that unlocks the ancient Veil lies in a slight change of perspective or mindset, the cryptic message from the past comes to life and allows access to previosuly invisable and unimaginable realms of consciousness, understanding and ability.

You should repost all these images as photos. So they can be viewed as slides or even zoomed. They are very interesting and when one understands the function of the Neter...it makes more sense.

The Title Uru was used in many instances however, the first time I read about it was in relation to the Heru/Set God. I like your thinking in regards to Urusalam. Urusalam was used in the Amarna tablets of Akhenaten as the name for Jerusalam. I bet Tuthmose III or Amenhotep II had something to do with the first Temple. However, Pharaoh Siamun comes to mind on that one...

So Uru, the Great would signify the relationship between Heru (Ascension and Mastery) and Set (Fixation and Corruption). Urusalam would relate to Order out of Chaos. (This Sacred Drama seems to be playing out in the Outside world of illusions). Heru and Set would symbolise the Hexagram and Uru, the Great is The Holy Land.

Heru and set was called Uru, the Great. This was the God name used in naming Urusalam. So the latin term for Jerusalam is right on, Herusalam.

It turns out that the Bennu is symbolic for the Phoenix. Did you notice how Venus was represented by Auset and Heru in the Image from yesterday. The Bennu bird in that context would represent the Birth and Fruition of Ascension and Mastery. The Bennu rises out of its ashes to Sopdet( Associated with Sirius) which is Presentience and Precession. Osiris is Germination and Renewal.
