You must have chaos within you to give birth to a dancing star.
There is always some madness in love. But there is also always some reason in madness.
There is more wisdom in your body than in your deepest philosophy.
That which does not kill us makes us stronger.
The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself.
Supposing that Truth is a woman — well, now, is there not some foundation for suspecting that all philosophers, insofar as they were dogmatists, have not known how to handle women?
Sex: only to the withered a sweet poison; to the lion-willed, however, the great cordial, and the reverently saved wine of wines.
Faith: not wanting to know what the truth is.
I would believe only in a God that knows how to dance.
Man is a rope stretched between the animal and the Superman--a rope over an abyss.
I love the great despisers, because they are the great adorers, and arrows of longing for the other shore.
Behold, I am a herald of the lightning, and a heavy drop out of the cloud.
Behold, I teach you the Superman: He is this lightning, he is this madness!

"The most spiritual men, as the strongest, find their happiness where others would find their destruction: in the labyrinth, in hardness against themselves and others, in experiments. Their joy is self-conquest: asceticism becomes in them nature, need, and instinct. Difficult tasks are a privilege to them; to play with burdens that crush others, a recreation. Knowledge-a form of asceticism. They are the most venerable kind of man: that does not preclude their being the most cheerful and the kindliest. ”
― Friedrich Nietzsche, The Anti-Christ
Just did a sermon on "Three Metamorphoses" out of Thus Spoke Zarathustra. Pretty powerful symbolism in that one.
"That hidden and imperious thing for which it takes
us a long time to find a name, until at last it reveals
itself as our Task in Life, that tyrant within us takes
a terrible revenge for each attempt we make to avoid
or escape from it, for each premature decision , for
each identification with something that is none of our
business, for otherwise respectable activities if they
divert us from our main concern- yes even for each
virtue which would keep us from the stern call of our
personal duty. Disease is the response whenever we
doubt our vocation, whenever we begin to make things
easier for ourselves. How strange and, at the same time
frightening it is that we obtain more relief the more we
atone! If we would regain our health, we have no choice:
we must shoulder a heaver burden than we shouldered
before."

It is a nice day to ask ourself a question...
"I teach you the overman. Man is something that shall be overcome. What have you done to overcome him?"
You are welcome to share your answer if you like.
I also thank you for the invite. Nietzsche, truly is a road less traveled.
