Community Policy

Can you believe we have made it nearly two years and 2,000 members without having to establish and enforce any website policies? That is amazing to me, and also disappointing that we need to do it now. This policy is amended as unfortunately necessary on occasion.

• Do not treat others with disrespect or condemnation, we are ALL equals here. If you fail to understand this concept, and wish continue to treat others disrespectfully after being warned, you can leave - it's that simple.

• Do not use excessive or unnecessary foul language or nudity, we try to observe others feelings and it may be offensive to others. The way we act here is a testament to our character, lets lead by example, not just be another example.

• Do not post others articles here without citation or use of commentary which establishing fair use under U.S. copyright laws. While we fully embrace a philosophy of freedom of information here, let's try to be respectful.

• Do not promote your website in blog posts, chat, comments, groups, etc... (That is why we enabled a website field in your profile) Doing so will be considered abuse of the platform and exploitation of our members to drive traffic to other domains, such actions will not be tolerated.

• Do not "troll" the website or it's chat function, if you have no intention of using the website for its established purposes - then you do not belong here.

• Do not direct blog posts at specific members, that is the purpose of comments on specific blogs and private messaging. Try to understand this makes many people uncomfortable, placing in many cases an un-needed spotlight on them.

Please try to stay within the bounds of this policy, if you continue to go against the policy after being spoken to about the issue, action will be taken to ensure the integrity of the community.
