Muddy Trails

Now this is an extension of my question "who came first, gods or man (humankind)". What I have come to question is, well everything.  If we work under the parameters of force and form, then I cannot see a seperation between observed gods and the observer. Ultimately these gods are words and thoughts. That's all.The crazy thing is that a lot of people have accepted these correspondences and gods as truth. And along the way things got muddled, forgotten.Because we are not perfect, so the mistakes…See More

And all truths are but half truths. Professionally I have observed a strong resistance to change. Even if that means approaching a problem from a different perspective than what is generally accepted to save/make more money or profits. If there is a problem, you need drop the ego and look at it objectively. With an objective perspective you place yourself into the position of observer. You have no ties to the outcome of situation, therefore; you give yourself room to perceive clearly. And think…See More

So Many Boxes...

Funny thing about writing and then going back and reading what you wrote. Being critical of other's words (especially if those words are you own) and then allowing perspectives to change is important I think,But at some point you really consider what you are doing.Ultimately there is a blank page, or text box in this case, and you feel the need to put stuff in that empty box.We are expressive beings. Which can be beautiful, but as with all things, can also be ugly.In music there is a balance of…See More

Words, ideas. A web of... well webs. What strikes the motivation for this post is an email that I received today. One of those email reminders from a self-help guru that I signed up on the mailing list because there was some new thought program that the "guru" assured would bring solutions to my problems. Yes, that sentence is loaded.I am grateful for my "self-help" consumption phase. I believe that it led me to the esoteric path. But, self-help programs/gurus are still rooted in…See More

Seperation

Which direction? Which way do I go? It appears to me that separation is vital, and natural. The context of which it unfolds is more important.Separation has become ingrained into our current society. Now considering this, the concept of "environment" becomes invaluable. And this can be separation in itself. But only if it is made conscious.Separation sold, bought, and accepted without question is a jail. A prison constructed of programmed fear.If you can't tell yourself from the environment,…See More

Stand?

Sounds like the beginning of a political campaign "Stand!" Fill in the blank here....5 characters leading to an emotional based ideology. And yet only one character that represents both fear and hope.I question, and I will ask you. Beloved reader. How many people stand in between YOU and reality?Think slowly and carefully. There's the family you are born into, and the expectations that are tied to that dynamic. There's the collective society that lays out the blueprint of what is best for your…See More

Shadows, Masks, and Demons of the Past

Consider the words of the title carefully. Notice that each of the three phrases cannot exist without the creator, the observer. The Sun that shines will cast shadows. The Mask will be worn by the actor. The operator that accepts events as time will ultimately encounter death, and his regret of it.There is a commonality to these situations that hopefully I have made clear by stating these small words to present an environment of interpretation that thus produces the answer. The Individual Is…See More

Birth of a New God

If we accept that the mental proceeds the material, then we can ultimately derive that those who control thought also control reality. It is my sincere conclusion that individual thought, and more importantly, individual experience is lost. We have become walking advertisements to our very own hell. The nihilist mindset that feeds into the socialist framework of inequality and the grand solution is at our doorstep asking for contribution to even the "odds".Now we give to empty promises, "and…See More

Internet? Enter Me, Enter Everyone

Allow me to throw another log on the fire. It's so backwards. Opinion and judgement are news now. Perceptions are skewed in search of more "hearts" and "likes" (icons on that thing we shove our face into). Its like the reptilian brain just got a "go" button. But now that "go" button is shared and commercialized.Information gluttony. Why?? How should I feel, what should I do, who should I be?I'll google it... The problem is when1. the answers are aggregated to provide the most "traffic" to the…See More

Funny that word, "prison mate". As if there is there is comradery in being imprisoned. Consider your "cellmate". Maybe there is such a thing."Mate" can be associated with Australian lingo, but the origin is one of Naval sources. So what can we discern from our "mates"?Interviewer: "Why are you behind these bars?"Prisoner: "I sought to take something that was not mine".Interviewer: "What did you…See More

The Very Thing We Run From...

I am trying to figure out how to start this post, and I don't know how so, I won't start. I will continue.I was in a major city, and in a very bad place mentally. I had run away (from what exactly I will not say, lets generalize by saying I ran from bad decisions of my own making). So I am walking from my hotel to the nearest gas station to buy beer, at noon. There were some old train tracks that were on my way to the gas station, and one day on my walk there I encountered an old man. Obviously…See More

The Early Morning Darkness

Rise before the sun, and experiencing that little bit of silence. When all are asleep, there is solitude and anticipation. Clarity through silence. If there is one thing that you can do to help you with any confusion or hardship is to wake up early, before the sun, and meditate. If that's all you did for the rest of you life, what daily experience of beauty could you create!Your day, your life.I have things in my life that need to be addressed. Things that I DO NOT wish to take to the…See More

I've had this meme in my "Celebrity" file for months and not known where to post it. I think you'll like it. We have to understand though that very few are either just part of the problem or just part of the solution. Black and white do not shine that brightly when kindness creeps in to relatively bleak scenarios. We need not support a myth that stunts anybody's will to improve their lot from whatever glue they may be stuck in as dealt. Thanks for all the posts. Breathe and laugh!
