We are all "addicts".
Addicts to habit. The mind is "programmed" to behave this way.
Conservation of energy.
If you truely want to make an internal change, things as they are, must be accepted.

We tend to use emotion to subjugate action.
While this can be beneficial, it's also not maintainable.
Emotion is a tool to pierce through that fog of equanimity.
To initiate change is a powerful ability.
The rip is not the point.
It's a step into something new.
On the other side is responsibility.
Not more rips.
Take care in the exploration of ego dressed in balance.
