I really like this short definition of a spiritually elevated mystic- from a Rosicrucian book.."Unto Thee I Grant"-

As a member of the Rosicrucian Order , Amorc for 28 years, we learn the importance of intuition.
Intuition is a gift we all have, but either we do not use or develop it.
Below, is a wonderful essay on intuition. I hope many of you read , or at least, browse it.

It is so true that many read a book and think they are arriving. The mistake I make and all too often is sharing some advanced insight with one who may not be ready to understand my vocabulary and what I am truly saying. The thing that helps me when I, in my enthusiasm, make that mistake is the knowledge that each indiivual will interpret, to the best of their ability, and see only what they are ready to "know".
The positive aspect is that a mustard seed is planted and when and if that individual gets "Graced' - understanding will come at the rate they are ready for it.
