Hello Jesse Clement!  Apologies for the long delay in getting back to you, I've been away a while.  In answer to your question, I have written in several of my posts about the Ring of Solomon, and some of the theories about it and its supposed history etc.  You can find them there, but suffice it to be said that the ring disappeared around the time of Solomon's death, but may have been secreted away inside the Temple Mount by the priests of the temple, possibly because of its reported powers.  During the first crusade the Templars occupied the mount and dug beneath the platform, reportedly finding hidden treasures, though exactly what has never been said.  There are many theories about what they might have found, and where they sent these artifacts...most people think of the Ark and gold treasure, but of course the possibility could be that they found the hiding place of the ring.  If it indeed it was the ring, its powers and whereabouts would be of interest, considering what it is claimed to be able to do...ie-mostly, conjure 'spirits', but the details of all of this can be found in several of my diaries on EO which you can search for on my page using the tags option.  ;o)
