Zen Bones

As Plotinus said , it is "a flight of the alone to the Alone" and as an old Zen poem says:           If you do not get it for yourself,           Where will you go for it?Fundamentally, this is in a sense the position of the whole Zen Buddhist tradition."I do not even style myself Zen Buddhist. For the aspect of Zen in which I am personally interested is nothing that can be organized, taught, transmitted, certified, or wrapped in any kind of system. It cant even be followed, for everyone has to…See More

A sense of wonder.
Favorite Sacred Sciences
Day dreaming, finger painting, music, poetry, conscious breathing
About Me
I enjoy giving a voice to the varied expressions in nature, those in the
animal kingdom and inanimate objects. The most valued are always
the intangibles that carry meaning....the sun shining, a cool breeze
blowing, a heart beating, a souls' yearning...
I am no one in particular, except someone who has been able to enjoy being in such a wonderful circle of individuals so, I call myself grateful. I delight in expressing myself in simple ways. So, I call myself a simpleton.
I relish being able to understand someone and sometimes, I even find myself more excited, when I am understood.
I try and accept the good and the difficult with grace. I do not profess to speak with higher entities,or spirit forces or with authorities on other planes. I do feel myself in an intimate exchange with the living world around and within me when I am quiet. It is a mystery that has meaning to me, so I swim in this sea of my own mystery.
Astrological Sign
Yes
Favorite Books
There are some titles where reason wins out
And the mind finally satiates itself
Where knowledge declares, a king without wealth
Until wisdom will reveal herself.

Nemo, a Latin word meaning "no man" or "no one"
Favorite Films
Too many to name......"The Seven Faces Of Dr. Lao" for one...more later.

Thank you so much Nemo I am humbled by the picture you left on my page and your chosen words. So fitting - I am a Whale Rider. Where I am now:

"Memories that had been frozen like big stones, came to me, and with them all these feelings. There was water all over the place. It seemed for a while that all of me was hidden under an ocean of emotions. But then I became able to reach out to friends and healers in all levels of Reality. (And they to me) New Land was starting to rise." Pia a Runic Shaman writing of her process that so mirrors mine.

I have found new ground as a Walking Tree  ~ it is about Voice -

I know you can relate. The sacred spiral of Mnemosyne ~ Mother of the Muses. Cosmic Memory ~ She of the Syne/Sine . What a confirm: Deep Forest is playing as I write!!

Thank you for the welcome! It was good to hear from you. I'm still mainly lurking about, checking things out. Everyone seems so knowledgable, I feel like a dabbler in comparison.  It's been ages since I read the Illuminatus trilogy, perhaps now is a good time to refresh my memory. There were so many that I didn't mention- when it comes to books, I could go on forever. I hope to hear from you again sometime- goodbye until then!
