(My part in this tale is that of Carol and the preschools - the last of Ed's experiences. I was Carol and it was a great time playing in the preschools - I loved it.)
The music store was dark and chilly. Those who worked there were leaving for the day.
“Did you turn down the heat?” Ken the owner asked Ted the sales clerk.
“Yeah, and I’ll turn out the rest of the lights,” Ted replied.
“Don’t turn out the neon sign in the window,” Ken said. “I leave that on all…

The sun was very warm on the big crate as it sat in the back of the delivery truck. Heather didn’t think she could stand it another minute when finally the delivery drivers came back to unload her.
She knew that all this heat was not good for her beautiful finish or for the rest of the piano that she was a…

Fanny the Fancy Flute teaches that it is better to be an active member of society rather than an item of beauty collecting dust on a shelf.
The people attending the auction were getting tired of sitting in chairs. Arthur the auctioneer called for a fifteen minute intermission before continuing the auction. While the people were standing and stretching their legs, the helpers of the auction were busy lining up the next articles to be offered.
The…

Jennifer, a violin, knows that the true inner spirit of a person will come through without any help from “things” outside ourselves.
Jennifer woke up early with a start. The train whistle sounding in her ears was very loud and she also kept hearing a clickety, clack sound. It was a nice rhythm, but it bothered her. She had never heard it before. Then she realized that she was moving. “WHERE WAS SHE?” she thought. “WHAT IS HAPPENING?”…

A very warm welcome to everyone who has joined this group. I am humbled and yet still pleased that so many of us are here to celebrate the diversity on this planet.
All of the these noteworthy things that are either outrageous, funny, intriguing, shocking or thought provoking are created by us humans with the free will and choices bestowed on us by our Creator. Some things shock our senses and others are cause for celebration.
Welcome aboard my friends, and know that you are a valued member here and that we all look forward to the contributions of everyone. Perhaps with all that is going on in the world around us we can find in this group some diversions and distractions if not inspiration to help our lives a less serious task.
KMT said… Hi Norma! Thanks so much for the warm welcome, and kind words. I am somewhat overwhelmed (at the moment) by all the information, and interaction possibilities on this site. I feel like a kid in a candy store, but I do look forward to blogging as soon as I get my bearings. Thanks again.
Ommi said… hi Norma.....a really interesting post.....dont know if you have read Play of consciousness by swami muktananda....in it he describes aspects of his life and his experience of kundalini awakening.........its a really interesting read....he describes the vibration and colours of the various chakras and out of body experiences to other worlds and how amazing all of it is....eventually settling in the state of natural equipose...a state of balance..Y..our post reminded me of the pleasure i gained from reading his experiences.....I find that when i am a little tired from all the goings on in the world i turn within and enjoy the natural state of peace that resides within us all....i call it home......thanks again for an enjoyable post......cheers.....Bill....(ommi).....OM
Eternal Optimist said… Hi Norma! Thanks for adding me. I am a musician too, but I kind of plateaued a couple years ago, due to school and work. I have become and organizer and probably member of a new church band that we are developing, to begin playing in January. It will be good to get back in the groove!
How long have you been in Colorado? What's it like out there? I have lived in Cleveland all my life. Well, I'm in Berea now, still close. I work downtown at Cleveland State.
Blessings to you!
