What brings you to Esoteric Online?: Looking for a place I can go that isn't polluted by religious and political propaganda. I feel biblical literalistsm has created a race of people "Preparing for spiritual warfare" looking for and expecting a "Very Real Enemy!" Convinced we're living in the "End Times", they are TRYING to "Bring Jesus Back", because everyone knows that the "Prince of Peace" won't come unless there's bloodshed.

About Me: I live in the bible belt and can go nowhere without choking on god. I was raised, fortunately, having a choice, not being forced to believe any certain way. I was able to explore the cultures of the world, not having my eyes shut (for me)...it seems like most Americans are living in a bubble or behind a wall, "our religion is the only one, anyone who don't know about it or don't believe it are WRONG and worshiping the Devil - WE MADE!- and are going to burn in HELL...you know...the place you can't see, or buy a train ticket to...but you're going!- yet another thing WE MADE!"
It's that superstitious mentality coming out of the Dark Ages that claims so many lives. Most people don't know where their religion comes from, only blindly following the priests-taught to never ask questions, speak their mind, or think. If more people did, the structure would collapse.
