A challenging thought exercise...

It's been a long time since last I wrote a post here, but right now I want to spread a thought exercise I find very challenging. Notice that I will try to avoid making a distinction between "you" and me, as I am in the middle of this exercise myself.

I know, I am all this, call it universe, call it existence, call it the great becoming, again and again, until I become what I will be, as I am what I already am and as I have been.

When I had completed what I needed to be,…

Sensing Eternity

Do you sometimes sense the eternal layer?

When I grief in remembrance of loved beings that had died, or simply those, who were connected to me in one form or another, I find myself feeling eternity, calmly keeping everything afloat. I sense that we are all just a blooming of it, tendrils reaching into function in the fireworks of life, full of bright sparks and…

Visiting Death

Alright, after almost a year has passed I finally decided to write about my encounter, my experience with a glimpse of being dead. It'll be a dry report at first, just to describe what happened without any embellishments or interpretations. But I might add my take on it later on.

I dreamed being a middle aged man with a mustache (definitely not me now),…

A little reminder to ponder upon...

We are universe. It's so easy for us to forget that. Even when some like to mention stardust and all that, but it's so much more than that. We are physically and logically universe, equal to anything that is in terms of physicality, but quite so much more in terms of universal obligation. Here's my "reasoning":

Let's use ordinary scientific models for this analogy, just to make it a bit easier. But let me start by acknowledging the fact that all there is has motion as its core…

On Will, Want and Fear

On Will, Want and Fear

Today something prompted me to finally write a new blog post. I know it's been ages and it would make an entire post itself to explain why. However, as part of the fruit of the reason comes the following little article. I initially wrote…

Daily Sketch No.42 - Ankh

A thought on the Ankh symbol

The loop above is the ongoing cycle of motion in the fluid space of infinity. The bar down is the slice which we perceive as existence and from which we contribute to the cycle. The bar across is the veil that keeps us from experiencing the cycle itself beyond our contribution.

Within this cycle all times…

Daily Sketch No.41 - breaking the spell

Breaking the Spell

It seems we only ever start to break free, I feel, bound by spells of convention which reach so deep into our being that it takes miraculous moments to make us sense those tiny, vicious tendrils, piercing our wish, poisoning our will. Hidden in plain sight they tell us what to believe, what to…

WIP - Tree of Life revisited

[version 04]

Tree of Life - revisited (work in progress)

I've decided to put together some more symbolism to illustrate my thoughts on the tree of life. In this case it is focused around the human spirit and its components. It also represents its evolution quite well, I think.

The Hands

Those reaching…

Merry Christmas 2.0 (thoughts about Christ)

I know, I know, it's Christmas and not Easter, but nothing shows the essence of Christ like the crucifixion does, when it comes to the overall symbolism...hence the cross everywhere. Because Christ is meant to represent all of us, the one supernal stage where we spawned from as fragments or derivations of. It is the original, blameless, innocent source, which here on…

Merry Christmas...

Today I replied to a message I received from a Jewish friend of mine. It's been about the troubles around Israeli settlements and Palestinian fears and so forth from a Christian perspective... This time around Bethlehem, but it's all the same, really.

I chose this opportunity to bring up Christmas as we should really celebrate it altogether for what it truly is, transcending all dogma or seemingly conflicting belief. But more on that at the end of this. (I hope it's alright,…

Daily Sketch No.38 - The Golden Age

Ideas about the Golden Age...

A time when humanity has no self imposed scarcity.

A time when humanity knows only unconditional sharing.

A time when lies are no longer needed.

A time when all celebrate each ray of brilliance offered by anyone. When humanity identifies itself with every spark of genius coming from amongst them; when it sees with all…

Daily Sketch No.37 - The Diamond

And Nothingness tumbled into Being and strung itself into the great web. On its vibrations a melody emerged, out of noise a pure sound. And from its progression a substance manifested, everywhere and nowhere. A voice turned into crystal, turned into a choir. And thus it found a chorus, repeating with ever increasing clarity and more voices still rising out of all the…

Belief - the middleground?

From where I stand, I recognize a fear of belief, probably not dissimilar to that of an atheist, while I'm firmly on the other side of that equation. I have no doubt about the Be-ing of what we term "Creator" or even creators for that matter. I have no doubt that- as we define ourselves as living creatures- the root of existence is alive and a being of such magnitude that we can only know we are but a tiny fraction of its potential. Yet we are a multitude of necessity, meaning; we need to be…

Proposal to the Jews

Dear Jewish Nation,

I suggest that you no longer are afraid to write "God", as it is just as generic a term as "Hashem" (The Name). To show hesitation to do so would be a submission to the Christian misconception that with "God" they were addressing one specific being above all beings and things. Even the Bible itself makes clear that there is a "Most High God", hinting at the fact that "God" itself is a generic title, exactly like "Hashem".

I've learned that to the…

Dreams & Ancestral Memory?

Every now and then we have these iconic dreams that stay with us for- most likely- the rest of our life. They become a memory. But what if some of them actually have been memories to begin with?

It must've been probably two decades ago that I had this dream. It was crystal clear, however clear a dream can become, and showed a scenery at a beach. Countless…

Genesis & the Tree of Life (revision)

What if the Tree of Knowledge (in the center of the garden) is Tiphareth. What if Adam sat on Chesed (Love, Innocence, Mercy, first formation) and Eve on Gevurah(Strength, Judgement, "Discrimination"). I just happen to realize, that this could make more sense than what I thought of earlier. In this assignment it becomes also more clear that the first Triangle together…

Caduceus - inspired by last nights radio show

The Caduceus

Inspired by last nights Alchemy lesson and subsequent radio show, I felt like presenting my take on the Caduceus staff and what it symbolizes. It is the staff held by Hermes the Thrice Great (Trismegistus) and- in my opinion- illustrates the paths…

Daily Sketch No.36 - Answers

One cannot obtain an answer. You cannot find an answer in a book or hear it from a person or read it from the stars. The only thing you can ever get is the inspiration to arrive at your answer from inside yourself. Even then you cannot share the answer and expect people to accept it and propagate it as such. Even then you, too, can only inspire in the same way the…

Seven Noahide Laws

Every good law is first a good teacher and last a good protector.

The seven Noahide laws are the very basics provided to the roots of humanity according to the Torah. Within them linger the secrets of existence. Regardless as to how close you come to discover the Truth, those laws will not lose validity nor purpose.

Manly P. Hall once talked about the curious phenomenon of 5 versus 7, which somehow represent a pattern found throughout all of antiquity, regardless which…

Random Rambling...

We're all idiots.

Even if many believe to be better than that, think the great light has shown them the way and all that, we're all idiots. Can we not find the words to explain to the world how it all works, what it's all for or at least how we can act properly to find it out?

What's with those atheists or other forms of blind faith, be it in separated fractions of wisdom like philosophy, science or esoteric teachings. Are we not given to observe all that it takes to figure out…
