Happy Easter, Which is Not Named After Ishtar

What are your thoughts on this article?

' The Greeks and Romans called it Pascha, which is why Easter is Pasqua in Italian, Pascua in Spanish, and Paques in French.  How exactly did the name of a Canaanite fertility goddess skip all the way to England from the Middle East without stopping in Rome or Byzantium?'

IMO it is incredibly insulting how many people seem to believe that Europe has no cultural history and simply stole Ēostre because they apparently have no roots.  Germanic, Nordic and Celt cultures were very civilized and maintained quite a bit of depth.  Though much was lost through persecution that depth still exists and it is either lazy or outright misinformation to put forth things like the idea that Christianity has no root in Europe.
