I have been a seeker for about 4 yrs now and the more i learn, the more questions i have, and the more i wish to know increases, also the more i know, the less people i can relate with, the stranger i seem to be to the outside world. i suppose it goes hand in hand and if one intends to seek further spiritual/universal knowledge they should prepare them selves for the loneliness that goes along with it. not to mention the fact that one should pace themselves when taking in so much new info because if one is not prepared mentally/emotionally then it can cause extreme mental unbalance. and another thing in my experience be prepared to get backlash from family and loose some 'friends'. ................i wonder if others have had the same experiences.

Views from the edge of the bell-curve of truth and liberality.  It may be as we get to know more of our existence we lose resonance with the comprehension you once shared. But you will never be alone only lonely thoughts. I do feel akin to the view.

Thanks for the post

aytron phillips you are so right. i am also the one that gets to be thought of as crazy. it is something that i find very difficult to take emotionally because it really hurts my feelings not to be taken seriously or to have everything that comes out of my mouth turn into a potential debate. it feels so smothering and stifling to talk to many people. im so lucky to have the very few friends i have. im so glad i came across this site and found some of the others as well. lately its been very difficult im sure not only for me. thank you for the comment

thank you for your comment. im laughing at myself because i had to look up the word artifice and i thought i was smart. haha. thats a very good word to describe ALL family relations (not including spouse and son) , also a good word to describe society and , well, wow! that word describes mainstream reality as well. the word of today should be artifice. haha. i have found that in order to keep the peace with family and to go unnoticed by the beast and stay under the radar requires a certain skill to it. i just hope that when the time comes i have the courage to speak and act and the intelligence to know when that time is here. until then, im very selective when to speak and when to be silent, when to blend in and when to stand out, etc...... survival depends on it i think. im glad i learned a better word to explain reality today. :)

Yes on both counts. I have always counseled myself to take it slow with meditation, but in recent years the natural acceleration has been a little much for me. Still grounded tho! The other point about new friends and old, also well taken. But as with aspects of loneliness, I can see how artifice survives and grows under any relational circumstances with some people, y'know, like among each other as well as someone who went this way such as me.

Definitely Donna, the more you awaken the more those asleep call you 'crazy'. There's a quote I love that says 'To be considered insane in this insane World is the greatest compliment, to be considered 'normal' in an insane World is such an insult'.

It can be hard yes when your frequencies change from your expanding knowledge and family/friends start to view you differently but just remember the Universe is working its magic always in your favor, you may loose people in your life but new ones who are meant to be there to help you continue your journey will appear :D

My friends I suppose view me as like the crazy one, and a lot of the time if I say or show them something thought provoking, instead of contemplating it they immediately to to 'counter-argue it, even if I'm not even arguing a point just saying something that makes you wonder. It can be frustrating yes but I'm so grateful that I have this website in my life full of likeminded people to share with like this :D
