Quick blog here. I wanted to get this down on "paper", before it left me.
Also to get continue the momentum of this thought process on signal and noise.
Someone said to me that emotions are like a radar.
Now if I was to take that same idea and apply it to daily life, I can see that repeated patterns of experience bringing the same flavor of emotion to be a true target or point of interest.
I would also compare this to other, resonant emotions.
Wherein the environment or person produces a positive emotion when the individual interacts with that situation/person.
Those may be more elusive because we tend not to think about those interactions that produce a bit of joy in the day.
But nonetheless, they also should be brought into conscious awareness.
To keep things honest, this train of thought was the result of what I felt was another interaction with a negative influence.
Someone that produced negative emotions within myself.
These events are the ones that are easier to pinpoint, the majority of the time.
Unless the repeated emotion has dulled the receptor to the point it's accepted, but that's another conversation.
I think what I am trying to get at here, is to consider these aspects from a Hermetic point of view.
They are signals that can drive decision making and ultimately an individuals mindset.
But at the end of the day, these emotions, rather perceived as positive or negative, are still energy at their core.
Signals that can be observed, offerings that can be accepted or denied.
Whatever the action taken though, we must understand (accept) that spark, feeling, motivation behind the form of action.
Very interesting in that we presented with both the "sign" for change, and the very energy to do so.
The Individual Is Paramount
