Using Astrology, Talismans, and Pentacles to heal?

Hi, does anyone have experience using talismans and pentacles to heal afflicted planets in their natal chart? I have a heavily afflicted Scorpio influence and was thinking about trying to look into Solomonic stuff or something in the Picatrix to try to help myself. Just looking for helpful tips and pointers or anyone with useful stories/anecdotes? I'm a novice.
