A new Beginning

I thought I should add a group like this here. Because to me, tea is a ritual. It is a major factor in my life, and I thought that I should share my knowledge with people, and also open up better opportunities to learn more knowledge.

Also I will be making a comment hopefully at least once a day saying the tea I enjoy as my day unwinds.  By the time you read this there will already be some in there.

Tea of the day: Jing Xuan Oolong tea

Jing Xuan, meaning "Golden Lily" in Chinese.

A very floural oolong tea, Oolong being my favorite type of tea i just wanted something good and familiar for today. It is in my special box which I try and save for special occasions, but I just wanted a different Oolong tea, and the fact that I am going to try and have a different tea of the day untill I no longer can't.

Tea of the Day: Simple Pleasure

Simple pleasure is green tea, currants, orange peel, almond bits, sour cherry peices and safflower petals.

My all time favourite tea, Can't go wrong. very subtle flavours. and changes flavour dramatically based on brew conditions. if one ever gets a chance to drink some of this take it. its worth every penny spent on it (I've spent over 100$ on it alone) It sadly is no longer made. I am working on making it myself though.

Tea of the day: Body and Mind white tea

From Teavana

A romance of the senses indulged with a soft bouquet of jasmine and orchid scents released from these three amazing teas. Nothing short of an aromatic masterpiece, this triple tea blends the Buddhist lengendary Monkey Picked Oolong, with Jasmine Pearls green tea, and white Mao Feng tea creating a perfect floral aroma and taste of jasmine and orchid. Uplifting to the body, soothing to the mind and soul with sweet notes that intertwine and enlighten.

Fragrant orchid infusion with jasmine undertones

One of my favorites, a perfect blend. The description does it justice alone. I just like the jasmine.

Tea of the Day, Memory Enhancer wellness Blend.

Another from the late Teaopia. Teaopia had these wonderful things called Wellness Blend's where it was pretty much a herbal mix to turn into tea.

This one includes Glinkgo leaf, peppermint leaf, licorice root, spearmint leaf, lemon grass, basil leaf, gotukola, ginger root, Lemon peel, cinnamon bark, lemon balm, cardamom seed and lemon flavour.

It is said to to boost mental power, memory and clarity.

The main flavour that comes through is the spearmint, with a bit of lemon along with it. It's very nice I plan to have this one more often, and even possibley work on making some of it myself.

I also got a tealight tea warmer, so I am testing it out with 2 liters of this drink. I hope it goes over well.

Tea of the Day, Catnip and Oregano.

This is just an idea taken from a couple posts. One the comment by Adam Kadmon yesterday, and another comment from my wall. I will start a discussion on herbal teas from everyday spices, or teas from unordinary teas or something, Ill figure it out, and it will be there soon.

It seems from my reading that it will be a very good antioxicent tea,and will help cold, and digestion. and will help take stress off, along with helping me sleep.

overall flavour is Oregano, (not surprising) very... uhm... orregano like. based on its good effects I'll add a little to more of my teas but I don't know if I like it as much as this. if there is any major effects to report they will be in tomorrow's tea.

Tea of Today, Auspicious Ayame Wulong

Discover this rare floral oolong tea plucked from 100 year-old tea trees. Only one village creates this superior leaf featuring lingering mellow notes of orchid and iris. These long and unbroken deep green leaves are a treasure and thrive under clouds and mists from the high elevation Wu Dong Mountains in China. IMPERIAL RESERVE

My favorite Oolong tea, aquired from teavana. everything I like in a tea. perfect with everything. Worth trying even if the price is high.
