The Intangible Bond of the Human Animal Relationship

The Intangible Bond of the Human Animal Relationship

When nature reaches out to itself it becomes enlightening and adds meaning to the moment that can last a lifetime.

The Human / Animal relationship is as ancient a study as ourselves.

When we share our space with the 'Animal Kingdom' we create an atmosphere of practiced appreciation

for the simpler things, making the Great Work more tangible.

Weavers of Wisdom / Women Mystics of the Twentieth Century

Moments of true consciousness, unconditioned by the self are usually fleeting but indelible. We always remember them. They remain to us as moments out of time.

It is a fallacy to believe that only the spiritually mature can experience such revelations. They do not come because one sit for many hours in meditation or prayer although, if that meditation softens and opened the hard core of self, they are there for the taking. But as gifts they are given to all- to young children as well as the very old, to the murderer as well as the monk, and for all we know to animals- to accept or to ignore.    Anne Bancroft

An elephant walks into a house. Under one of its feet there is a big thorn. The master of the house takes it out. The elephant kneels down and let the man ride on its back. They go deep into the mountains. The elephant digs up a huge pile of elephant tusks from the ground with its trunk to thank the man

One Small Token

Here my glass becomes full

While the bottle now empty

The slow gentle evening dwindles

On into the dark night

Arching towards dawn

And all becomes quiet

And grand in it's quietude

The west still cloaked

Under a starry quilt

While this side of the world

Still dreaming...

We stand on a hill and patiently wait

Listening to nature's metronome

Which is the same as my heart's own

As morning breaks in the east

I reach for you

Knowing all will be well

If extend myself true.
