I am a Hermetic philosopher - a scientific materialist turned seeker at 18. My path began in darkness, and has led me from worldliness to otherworldliness to an integration of both - the alchemical Nigredo, Albedo and Rubedo, respectively. After…Continue

Too many to name! Mostly books concerned with the further reaches of human development, but I'm actually not the dry academic that my bio suggests. The Electric Acid Kool-Aid Test, books by Herman Hesse, Philip K. Dick, J.R.R. Tolkien, and Aldous Huxley. But, I'm not a big reader of fiction. Instructive guides for my spiritual journey have been important: BE HERE NOW, R.M. Bucke's Cosmic Consciousness, Plotinus' The Enneads, Iamblichus' On the Mysteries, Writings by Pseudo-Dionysus, Paul Tillich's The Eternal Now, Eckhart Tolle's The Power of Now, The Nag Hammadi library, The Bible, The Ante-Nicean Fathers, The Collected Works of Plato, Upanishads, Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, Tao Te Ching, Foundations of Tibetan Mysticism, Autobiography of a Yogi, The Collected Works of C.G. Jung. Books by: William James, Marie Louise von Franz, Jean Shinoda Bolen, Edward Edinger, James Hillman, Richard Noll, Ken Wilber, Alan Watts, R.D. Laing, Ram Dass, John C. I am a late-comer, in absolute terms, though I was only 2 in '72 within this incarnation.  My first show was 1993 Jerry Band at Shoreline and then up to the 1993 Eugene Dead shows.  Had seen Widespread Panic and Phish a bunch in my college years, but it took going out West to be with the dead.  I saw all the shows once in '94 and then got lost alone in downtown Atlanta:  Shiva showed me a couple faces that night.

My most recent show was Furthur last November in Amherst MA and would be going this Saturday to Wallingford CT but have a bit of an illness;  I will presently post in my pictures my recent CT Scan in my pictures so you and all can see the issue.

So the love for me has got to be real, and it is:  what a fantastic, sometimes terrible, unlikely yet certain, wondrously winding journey.

Oh and I will also post my car; when you see the badge you will see the reason for her name.

Mark, I was not being clear in my writing yesterday, no two ways about that.

Basically, I saw from your pictures that you were a deadhead, and clearly a seeker (as you are here at Esoteric Online).  The combination made me feel a connection and hence the invitation to be friends here.  There are a slew of other connections, perhaps we will delve into them as we journey..

Hi Markos

My username is Mutatis Mutandis. A friend suggested this site, and while browsing, I saw that your profile matches mine to a certain degree but of course, and as I am still a newbie, I have nothing much as yet...
I'd like us to become friends, if you don't mind.
In Dimension 3, I am a female and come from a wonderful place called Lebanon... That's for the basics :)
So I hope to read you soon, and thanks for being such a great soul.
