Cool.....i asked because i had a teacher once (long ago) who made us go thru our books and cross that word out (in the WHOLE book!) and replace it with "peoplekind" i thought that was ridiculus!...and got a detention for not doing it....thats all.
Anyway, on to much more important topics, have You ever had an o.b.e. ? Are You able to leave your body thru will power (& practice) alone?
I've just started looking into this and it seems fascinating and definitely a goal i'd like to achieve....and i'm seeking suggestions..........
You tell that is an old quote from the way the word "man" is used.
Can i ask you something? Does that ever offend you, the term "mankind" ? i'm just curious.
Makes no difference to me. The reason i ask is because of something a school teacher once did, that i'll never forget.
I never heard that one, but Thanks, i like it.
The quote refering to the starry sky is from Giordano Bruno.
Here's another one i like:
Instead of saying, "Man has a soul," it is truer to fact to say that man is a soul,
and has a body. The soul is not the thing possessed, but is itself the possessor.
"Who, What, Why?": yes, those would be the "cosmic" questions, wouldn't they? (Smile) I guess the force that infuses my living is related to a variant of the "Why", that variant being, "What for?" And beyond the questions, the actualizations of the answer(s), that is, making those answers the operative principles in one's life and everyday living.
Thank you for giving my profile a "like." You have been around Esoteric Online for a while now. What brought you here? "To connect and learn," yes, so I guess that the question is, "what interests you most here?" And what are you most interested in?
Hi Suzannne, so nice to meet you and thank you for the welcome!
I look forward to sharing my gnosis in the Pythagorean Mystery School never seen, at least to my knowledge, and as related to a new geometric form of the sacred geometry of the sacred heart, centered in the Breath of the Compassionate as Platonic Solid Air.
Thank you Suzanna, this is all new to me . I don't do any online stuff like Facebook or twitter, so it may take me some time to get use to this. I do feel this is where I belong.
Thx for friendship,
Much Love
