Hi, I was hoping that if there are any traditional witches out there that could give me some info on conjuring a familiar spirit. I've been searching for info in my books and a little on the internet…Continue

I'm absolutely obsessed with anything occult. I also would like to connect with and learn from like minded people and try to understand hard to interpret text like the book of the law and the emerald tablet. As beautifully poetic as some of these text are it's as if their authors were were being intentionally obscure.

About Me
I'm obsessed with the occult. I think of myself as a Witch. If people ask I tell them I'm Hermetic but I guess if you wanted me to be more specific I'd say I'm a Hermetic Animist Luciferian Gnostic devotee of the Goddess Hekate. My Spiritual beliefs are never stagnant, always evolving based on my experiences. I practice Traditional Witchcraft, Grimiore and Chaos Magick . I also like to experiment with tarot, psychedelics, lucid dreaming, and yoga.
I love smoking pot and I believe it is a medicine. Recreational use IS medical use! If you have NO bodily sovereignty then you have NO freedom! Whoa! that came out of nowhere. I guess I'll just leave it in.
I think that Witchcraft is not a religion, although it can satisfy my spiritual longing better than any religion of the book. Not that I have a problem with books. Actually, I am a reeediculous... bibliophile. But I digress. It only satisfies my religious impulse because It connects me to my ancestors and the spirits of my land. It is informed by my Catholic upbringing with my use of a witches ladder (rosary) and petitioning saints is basically necromancy. Hell, praying to Jesus Christ (a dead guy, who's most important act was his death!) can be considered necromancy. Unlike Wiccans, I as a witch I do believe in the Devil and I don't discard my Christian heritage in favor of some out of context Nordic or Hindu cosmology. Not that there's nothing to be gained from study of foreign cosmology. It's just that casting a circle, invoking Quetsocuatl, and meditating while chanting "Om Shivaya Vashi" ain't doing shit! Believe me, I've done Dumb shit like this before. It's called larping. And this is the real world not Lord of the Rings!
As mentioned above I'm a Devotee of Hecate. I mean really devoted, I've Sacrificed my own blood and animals to her. I invoke her daily and leave offerings to her at crossroads. She is my savior and she will tear me apart upon my death. I've lived in Greece and have been obsessed with ancient greek mythology ever since I was a child. I'm an American who's culture would have not been possible without greek philosophy and Zeus as a prototype for the Christian God. Hecate Phosphoros is analogous with Prometheus and therefore the Christian Lucifer.
I'm a southern American an hour from New Orleans and a whole mess of folk magic. I am a part of a magical culture and my witchcraft has cultural context. And although my witchcraft is a non-religious practical practice and it is a religious experience deeper than the abyss of Daath!

And when it came to pass that the Captain of Heaven cast down the Lord of Light from the throne of the Sun, he and his hosts of hundreds descended, his crown jewel, a stone of burning smaragdus, sank deep into the cavernous Mountain of the World: they came, those Children of Heaven unto Earth, who sought them wives amongst mortal stock before the Flood.

And an Angel of…

Five Fold Kiss Invocation of the God and Goddess

This is an invocation of the God and Goddess based on the five fold kiss initiation rite of Wiccan Witchcraft. I wrote this from the Hermetic perspective that there is One unknowable "God" and that God is The All (…
