Bible translations into English
When I was reading through the KJV, I came to a passage that I wanted to further understand. This was Matthew 3:15. In my understanding, this is the first time Jesus speaks in the New Testament. Initially, I found the wording in the KJV to be funny. However, after reading the other translations, I think I prefer it now.
To give context, Jesus asked Paul to baptism him, and Paul felt unworthy, and Jesus says in Matt 3:15 to not worry and baptize him…
