Are We to Lift as We climb? Is this Alchemy in action?

Please listen to the incredible video below that answers this quesiton will find solace as a light worker......

Is it the Light Worker’s gift and responsibility and freedom of speech to inspire change?

All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed.

Second, it is violently opposed.

Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.”

Arthur Schopenhauer

Since so many climbers have reached back through the centuries and shared their insights and “enlightened” us are we not meant to do the same?

Is this not true Alchemy?

Change the world by words?

Left off of the comment below.....this question: does not lightening and the neurons in our brain look the same or more to the point look like a TREE?

A Tree as each tree is a living breathing symbol as we are to be - a walking tree.......that is The Tree of Life we have tried to limit as the Cabala......yes like any has branches and as we mature we find there are more Sephira....or at least I have!! And as we mature we grow more neurons.....that expand our awareness.....

And as we have mirror neurons it is our job to hold the space of LIGHT as science confirms others in our radius pick up on our neurons....and they mirror our neurons.

Rob thank you so for your scholarship here. I cherish your insights. They have helped me more than you now. Also, I do not know the Light Bringer who you show below. I feel I am to know her. I am very grateful.

In doing all this deep inner work to understand what a LIGHT Bringer is .... I have unturned many a stone...the reason for my posting this blog wanting to understand responsibility. And hoping others like you would come forward to share their knowings. BLESSINGS!!!!

Lightening strikes in many AH HA gained: one book can change a life...or the words of a song that keep repeating in the brain....or the words of a light bringer who offers the profundity of choice. Sometimes the awakening comes from emotional trauma where the pain is so great or from an illness or an accident (like me).

But there seems to always be a catalyst. A person place or thing.

I am culling through my many books as my local library is holding its annual book sale and discovered behind a row of books a small framed picture. This is a sign....or a Sine....from the Sine Wave.....

It read: Courage....To Stay the Course.......Sometimes you have to make waves. My work when published is going to do exactly that. But it also means when you meet someone who still thinks the world is flat.....dropping a feather of information. Apple is right: Think Differently.

As to stay my own course I must be true to me and to truth. Ignoring or not having the courage to give voice condones ignorance. No one wakes up by themselves. That lightening strikes in many ways and SHE is another form of the wave that is the Snake.

In the Gospel of Thomas, the Rabbi Jesus is quoted by his brother as saying: "People say I came here to be of Peace. I came to be of the sword." of course this is a great paradox. To be of Peace means cutting through the lies. This of course threatened the Rabbinical college who was still stuck in old ways of thinking and not always with integrity.

Anyone who is from Courage (cour is french for heart) knows they are a catalyst for change and are not trying to win popularity contests. Each must draw on the wisdom of the ages....found through the feeling nature that opens Wisdom/Intuition/Knowledge.

You say and quite wisely: "Trying to find the balance is what probably motivates us to keep on walking on water, and smile."

To me keeping walking on water is a beautiful metaphor for the lightness it takes to share the Memory of all that is unconditional love....water is Memory.....and science recently has discovered that water holds memory.....duhhh...the ancients have always known this ...but we live in a time we are having to prove a lot to ourselves.

If an authority does not say that meditation can cure most "ills" then we stone all those who said it. All the many teachers for hundreds of years who planted the seeds for those who had to have proof to discover the fMRI were such stands for the maturity that is HOPE. With the fMRI we can see the brain light up AND change due to the effects of Mindfulness Meditation.

I think it was never meant to be Duality or opposites.....I feel we are here to learn from contrasts.....

but first we have to unearth our feeling nature....buried under all the hypnotisms of conditioning science calls Epigenetics.

This is a picture of the Neurons in our brain....looks like lightening eh? When we hear anothers truth the fMRI shows our brain the neurons light with color.....we are actually then activating their chakras....but then all of this is another blog or in my case books soon to be published.

Nemo. Thank you for your input and beautiful imagery. We agree there would be no light w/o shadow. When I was only 5 I loved walking with my shadow. I realized the Sun had something to do with it. We were a threesome.  I work a great deal with the Shadow (I am Jungian trained). In CA I did a walking meditation in a labyrinth, it unwinds brain patterns, almost daily for two years. My shadow was right there and I asked the Sun to integrate….my light and dark shadow.

The attention and intention and focus gave me the courage to complete now several books on aspects of integration.

You say: “Timothy Leary reminds us in his 'first commandment'

"Do not try to change people's minds" they must find it for themselves

and experience their own gnosis

That is the key….don’t try and change people’s mind.  Thank you I am to always remember I am a gardener … ego through this process is not as involved with results. This has taken years as I excelled in business and at a major University for exceeding expected results.

I am more comfortable now with the idea of just planting seeds….it is up to others to water and nurture them or not.  I am Ok with this finally.  A redwood does not grow over night nor does maturity mine one or any one elses!!

So is it our responsibility to go back into the cave and inspire? It is what I am doing now…and it is why I am asking.

My answer…….is YES….if there is no weight on outcome and if you see it as a gift not a burden.  It means getting rid of the belief….”don’t kill the messenger.”

Rob.  Thank you for your input and meaningful picture. Being There,  like Forest Gump is one of my favorite films f or the same reasons.  A simple gardener like Chance….who w/o reading and writing became an advisor to a President!  I aspire to be a simple gardener….to plant seeds of choice …. and walk away. Tend my own inner garden and where appropriate inspire others to do the same. As to Chance…..reminds me of Socrates:

  • He could not read or write. He used intuition insight and instinct only to discern truth.
  • He spoke of an Inner voice that arose when he was about to make a mistake.
  • He said his inner voice was a kind of insanity that was a gift from the gods that gives us poetry mysticism and philosophy.
  • He was considered a prophet of the Sun God.
  • He was considered being canonized by the Catholic Church as a Saint.

How did this “almost saint” meet his end? He was poisoned by his contemporaries for spreading “truth” that “corrupted” youth.

We have all these unhappy endings in our race memory: Buddha (poisoned) Jesus (hung) Men and women who loved Nature/The Feminine – Cathars- Templars- Witches (burned)  Lincoln (Shot) Ghandi (shot) MLK (shot) JFK, RFK (shot) and my beloved John Lennon (shot) and then the thousands of Tiananmen Square students and supporters mowed down (Crushed by tanks.)

As you say “Drop Our mental baggage, our beliefs and understanding”…..

it is how far down the rabbit hole you want to go.

Fear of retribution has allowed our inner knowings to be crushed by mindless machines of government, all forms of most media, most systems that include religion and more to the point each other. Co-dependency is still alive and well in America. Why?  because we are afraid to stand up. And own the truth of our feelings.

A lot of people still resist the concept of choice or respect those that exercise it and those that plant a seed reminding the hopeless it is a choice.

It is about walking away while maintaining the Mona Lisa smile of knowing. All are on the path and have a higher self that is showing them the way as mine is showing me. I feel stronger as the Tree I Am.  Love Swan.

Nemo and Rob....incredible incredible and beyond Incredible contributions.....I will respond to you both individually as each of you have created great tangents of thoughts and feelings. Each have offered insights that touch me deeply.

I am on a writing schedule but I had to stop and express my profound gratitude for your time and sharings. Til tomorrow!!

I keep hearing the last words of the reading of Plato's words in my mind: I have not decided if this is the stuff of martyrdom or it is just our job. Having had the privilege of meeting and being present with 5 Nobel Peace Lauriats where each gave a 2 hour talk.....each said they did only what was just their job.

Plato in the Cave: “It is the task of the enlightened not only to ascend to learning and see the good but to be willing to descend again to those prisoners and to share their troubles or honors whether worth having or not. This famous duel ....even with the prospect of death .....they shall give help to one another ......where each class is able to help the community.”

The key is: "Once you awaken, you have no interest in judging those who sleep.” This is has to be the difference between marytrhood and sainthood/enlightenment.

or in a Cave.....

It is such a paradox......when we make the illusion too real - that is martyrhood I bring the real into the illusion is our job - heart w/o judgment......

But change requires action does it not?:

“Each time a person stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring, these ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance.” Robert F. Kennedy

That is what each of those 5 Nobel Peace Lauriats said in their own way.

Love Swan.....

Plato's Allegory of the Cave

Allegory of the Cave. Left (From top to bottom): Sun; Natural things; Shadows of natural things; Fire; Artificial objects; Shadows of artificial objects; Analogy level.
Right (From top to bottom): "Good" idea, Ideas, Mathematical objects, Light, Creatures and Objects, Image, Metaphor of the sun and the Analogy of the divided line.

In the beginning light and shadow were a source of entertainment.

They were my first toys...they filled me with a sense of fascination and

wonder even to this day.

In Plato's Allegory of the Cave there is a symbolism of alchemy

that exists in the evolution of the personality...Jung's  'individuation process'.

"The way to the self begins with conflict..."

In another way we are reminded to consider "Just as the man is blinded to the free world

and the the thinker is blinded to the luminous world of ideas. Both the prisoners and the thinkers need a 'release' from their chains and a cure from nonthinking."

 The allegory that Plato uses

is an Orphic Path or the Road of Eros used in the Western Mystery Schools.

In "Man In Search Of A Soul" Jung writes that "the dark cave

corresponds to the vessel containing the warring opposites.

The self is made manifest in the opposites and the conflict between them.

It is a coincidertia oppositorum, hence the way to self begins with conflict.

The purpose of the return/descent as universally exemplified in Campbell's

"The Myth of the Hero" is to show that only in the 'region of danger'

(watery abyss, cave, forest, castle, etc.) can one find the treasure/light

hard to attain (the 'stone', the virgin, life potion, victory over death, etc.)

" actually, the very essence of all alchemical work

is a spiritual exercise whose goal is none other than

spiritual transformation, liberation from the darkness of matter." CJ

Yes we have an obligation as "Bodhisattvas of Compassion"

so that no one is left behind, to return in an attempt to shed light as needed.

Timothy Leary reminds us in his 'first commandment'

"Do not try to change people's minds" they must find it for themselves

and experience their own gnosis. When I first heard this I thought ...How clever!

Now, I know how wise these words really are. This comes into play when we

consider Plato's allegory as we attempt to share light with society/others

and then it becomes in Jung's words the great 'task' and part of the Great Work.

In the Eastern traditions a wonderful tool for 'enlightenment' is in the understanding

of the term Prajna/Wisdom. In Tibetan, 'Sherab' has its' meaning divided into two

understandings. The first is to know through study and secondly is to have a direct experience a

gnosis...sometimes related to a religious experience. These same traditions teaches us

to quiet the mind as a way to enlightenment, a way to liberate the soul. Just as there are many paths,

there are many teachers and many ways of interpreting the 'light'.

This is the Path of the Hero

I am far from original, "I merely transmit, I do not create. Even when I am walking with two others

I have teachers from whom to study. I copy what the good one shows me and avoid what the bad one shows. I hold no anger toward man or heaven. I perform my everyday affairs in a way that allows me to reach new heights. Only heaven understands me."    Confucian Canon

in order to seek enlightenment

But Nemo or Rob neither of you commented if you got any sustenance out of the video of Plato's knowings written about the Cave centuries ago - and your feelings here.....

Light is information and Information is Light......this is self expression! Words......

I have listened to the Cave 10 x to reinforce .....I am a gardener ... I plant seeds .....that our external reality is a product of choice....don't like what you see out have choice to change what is in there (beliefs of mind) - this is the choice that sets us free.....and we SOAR.

I know you both know this....but love to hear ... how you lift as you climb and how this is received.
