Being Who I Am After All These Years

I admit I'm a feisty witch; I have never been in the closet and have always openly expressed my opinions and beliefs. I have many friends and mentors (as well as those who have different opinions of me), who have come and gone in my life, and now I am faced with being what is called an 'elder;' I am a result of the experiences of many people and many influences, who have taught me their traditions. While I am willing to pass on what I have learned through my experiences, I recognize in my sweet short life that there is much more to teach, to learn, and to share with one another. I am here as a channel: and I see each and everyone as the same. I am humbled and honored to be allowed to speak my piece; I may come across as blunt and to the point; but I only do so through experience and living life...! I love you all, as you are living and walking your path, and you deserve respect and recognition for who and what you are; fly high!.

Yes, I agree that we all need to learn from our elders, and we can learn from our peers and those coming up after us as well.  As long as I am living and breathing, I have the opportunity to learn; those who don't feel the need to do so, well, that's they're choice.  Ignorance and arrogance are enemies to knowledge and learning, and will stunt one's!
